The Temple Artists Group Exhibition

Thursday, August 3, 6-8 pm at PlatteForum

PlatteForum has teamed-up with the Black Cube, a nomadic art museum, to mentor the next group of young arts professionals, PlatteForum’s award-winning ArtLab interns. Black Cube’s Executive Director + Chief Curator, Cortney Stell, has worked with the ArtLab interns throughout the summer to curate and present The Temple Artists Group Exhibition, which will feature the work of Temple building studio artists. The exhibition will feature three different zones, each curated and managed by a group of ArtLab interns, created within PlatteForum’s gallery space. 

The exhibitions will take place Thursday, August 3, 6-8 pm at PlatteForum. The exhibition is open through September 1st.
Gallery hours are Tuesdays - Saturdays from Noon-6pm.

Exhibition #1
Out of Body, the exhibition involves experiencing the human body through traditional view, interactive, representational, and abstractive art work.
Artists: Katie Caron, Jason Lee Gimbel, Naomi Scheck, and Frankie Toan

Exhibition #2
Name:____________, the exhibition based on IDENTITY. There's a lot of ways you can define identity, especially when it comes to culture, ethnicity, personality and etc.

Perishable Friends, the exhibition based on interacting with strangers.
