First Friday: D.A.R.C.O (Denver Artists for Rent Control) Letter Writing Campaign

  • REDLINE 2350 Arapahoe Street Denver, CO, 80205 United States (map)

The D.A.R.C.O letter writing campaign is one of many actions toward holding ground for a sustainable future. Their efforts are on behalf of Attainable Space for ALL in which to: live, work, create, express, and gather. These five things are essential for culture of any kind to thrive.

D.A.R.C.O believes there is power in the pen, and their plan is to collect and stuff into burlap mail bags as many signed testimonial letters from our concerned community and deliver them to City Hall and our State Capitol.

It is not required that a person consider oneself to be an artist in order to participate. This is a call to action for all concerned with losing the distinct ground of Arts and Culture people care about in Denver and Colorado. We are an organization that includes artists and creatives of all genres. This is a community art project.
